UDIT JAWARANI
Filmy by nature, dilli-waala by heart, a foodie and globetrotter, Udit always indulged in “the creative” approach to life, even in his early years, day-dreaming and writing jingles, amidst boring lectures.
CUT TO.
Working with and learning from maverick filmmakers like Prakasha Jha and Alankrita Srivastava on blockbusters like Satyagraha, Chakravyuh, Lipstick under my Burqa and Dolly-Kitty aur woh Chamakte Sitaare, Udit deep dived into the world of advertising and digital content.
Udit aims to find the right balance between aesthetics and emotions in his films. Boasting a body of work across various genres, with international fashion campaigns, for brands like Celio and Vero Moda, to beauty films for L'Oreal and Maybelline, and compelling viral human-stories for brands like Stayfree and Nuerobion Forte.
Besides commercials, Udit has also directed branded content for Netflix and Amazon India with the leading comedians. He has also
conceptualized, directed and produced successful travel content series A Spin Around Dubai for MX Player, Bazaar Travels for Youtube India and Goan Gullies for Zee5.
Experimenting across mediums and formats of storytelling allows Udit to collaborate with talented artists and technicians, to learn and challenge him to better his craft, and add a fresh perspective to each project.
Currently, juggling between advertising and finishing the draft for his feature script.
